I saw someone using realvnc for this exact thing. The client simply
downloaded and ran a standalone exe file which automatically connected to
the "server". I came to this site looking for it but couldn't find anything.
The standalone was somehow made by http://www.planits.com/support.shtml .

If I understand you correctly, then what you want to do is as follows:
1) Install the SERVER on your customer's PC (locked down tight to not
accept incoming connections).
2) Install the VIEWER on your PC.
3) On your PC, run the VIEWER in LISTENING mode.
4) You customer then initiates and "ADD
