screens I would have the mouse pointer on.
I did nothing at all to the VNC configuration on either the viewer or
server end to get this to work like that. It worked just like that earlier
with VNC 3.3.6 and VNC 4.1.1.

window scrolls more than one screen. Using the older 3.3.? viewer, I don't
see that. If I tap the scroll bar, it only scrolls 1 screen unless I very
deliberately hold down the mouse key.
I don't have a problem using the older viewer, but I am curious why this
happens.

It may not have been necessary to remove the MS patches and VNC. Perhaps
just a removal and reinstall of VNC would have done the same thing.

What worked, finally, was that I uninstalled VNC 3.3.6 and VNC 4.1.1 and
reinstalled 4.1.1 and that worked. Apparently, something in the
installation of last weeks MS updates cludged up the previously installed
VNC.

having a problem with ZA and VNC. I'll try disabling ZA tonight and
running the Win/XP firewall, altho I think I tried it last night. I'll try
again. I may also try a really fast test with no firewall. It may be time
to switch to the Symantec Norton Firewall.
