How /Do I Close a Folder with Files in It?

I transfered a folder with music tracks in it to my iPad Mini. It was easy enough to open it up with a double tap and get the list of tracks. But I don’t know how to close it. I have other folders in there and I don’t always want to see that list of tracks. Could someone tell me how I can close
