I am trying to reconnect my Wi-Fi settings on my old XR iPhone, as I had it

Try restarting your phone. I have had my phone do weird things including
not making expected sounds and restarting my phone fixed the issues. One
time, my phone was not letting any calls go through, just texts and
voicemails. People would call, and I would have no idea unless they left a
voicemail.
I have never heard a dial tone on any of my cell phones either. I think
that that is just a land line thing.

Are you talking about a regular dial tone, or the tone you get when you are
calling someone and you hear the ring tone? I always hear the tone that shows
you are calling someone.

the option to fastforward by 30 seconds at a time. but if the video is of
