Your emails are probably not gone. Go to Settings, Mail, Contacts,
Calendars, double tap on your Roadrunner account and check the "Mail Days to
Sync" setting. I assume it might be set to only show messages from a
particular time, you can set this to "Unlimited" to get around this.

repeating alarms and multiple alarms. You can specify what stream your alarm
should play, e.g. you could tell it to play a particular playlist, artist or
