I've never had problems booting using ovmf firmware from the rpm repo
https://www.kraxel.org/repos/ but today I updated (fedora 25) and
could no longer boot (black screen, no Tiano Core logo)
In my libvirt configuration I use:
/usr/share/edk2.git/ovmf-x64/OVMF_CODE-pure-efi.fd
which I'm assuming
Is it possible for a guest VM to use both spice server graphics with
qxl video AND hdmi gpu passthrough? Could the guest be configured
(windows 10 in this case) see it as a dual-monitor setup?
Has anyone tried this or gotten it to work?

Hello,
I recall someone mentioning that Alex had a patch to QEMU that avoids
the need for disabling hypervisor enlightenments if you were using
nVidia graphic cards.
Is this in upstream QEMU, if it is has it been released? Or do I need
to patch QEMU first? Where exactly is this patch?
Thanks!
Hi! I have similar issues. Sounds become very distorted almost as if
it were a record being played very slowly.
I have a GTX 970
When I boot windows 10 on hardware I do not have this issue. So I'm
fairly certain it's something to do with vfio or qemu. I don't have
any clues about it though. I usual

Hello,
I'm running into a problem with passthrough HDMI audio on my nvidia
970 card. It's more a of a nuisance than anything, but whenever I boot
the VM, audio will always be disabled (red x on the audio icon in
windows status bar). I can fix it with unplugging the hdmi cable from
the back of card
Hi!
I got excited after hearing that the latest Nvidia driver doesn't
check Hyper-V. So I tried it on my Skylake Windows 10 VM using GTX970.
Unfortunately it doesn't work for me using Fedora 23 and stock qemu.
Windows reports the driver reports errors.
I'm curious how you got it to work or where
Hey, just recently got a setup where I'm doing GPU passthrough using
OVFM and Windows 10. Many thanks to Alex and his blog :)
I have a few little 'quirks' that are annoying that I'd like to
resolve and hoping that maybe someone had similar issues knows how to
fix it.
I've got my Windows 10 guest
