Just add new satellite to your diseqc.conf file and use rotorng plugin to
scan satellite or transponders.
Below is an example of my diseqc.conf. Here Sirius is on LNB1 output, LNB2
is Amos, LNB4 is HotBird. LNB3 is commented out, there is nothing on LNB3

changes in vdr-1.7.23, it is enough to change SystemValues to
SystemValuesSat to compile vdr-actuator against the last vdr-1.7.23, or
simply:

I managed to build actuator plugin. As it was stated by Klaus, "Any plugins
that implement cStatus::ChannelSwitch() need to add the parameter 'bool
LiveView' to that function." So it is enough to add "bool LiveView" , for
details please see my PKGBUILD

Can you please update your plugin? VDR code has significant changes and
some plugins need updating. Basically the problem is only in i18n. I made a

Klaus, it could better to announce so called string freeze. In that
period of time no more changes into po files are allowed, and
translators can do their work. After that you can release the next
version of vdr. It is normal practice.

friend wants to watch tv programs from Europe, which I stream to him.
Because my upload is not too big (about 0.5 megabits) we used
externremux script together with stream-device plugin for vdr to encode
stream with h2

I had a similar situation with xine plugin and finally I decided to use
only e-tobi repositories (more plugins than in ubuntu builds) and
softdevice plugin instead of xinelib plugin compiled from source in the
following way:
apt-get source vdr-plugin-softdevice
apt-get build-dep vdr-plug
Well, it was so expected!!! Nice work, I'll try to test on my vdr pc.
Before that I had used Tobi repositories packages for VDR with ubuntu
8.04 but some of them required compilations from sources.
