What do you mean by "It's not perfect but that work" ?
it's cpu extensive because all audio is recoded in ac3.
You can try with this in /etc/asound.conf (for global user ) or ~/.asoundrc
(only user)

slave.pcm surroundaudio

Is there a plugin/patch to avoid recording of unnecessary audio tracks?
With "update names & pids" enabled vdr will add those tracks again once
I removed them from channels.conf. So I'd have to disable pid updating,
which is not what I had in mind...
