Can somebody recommend a cheap usb or serial remote control for a VDR
dedicated box (with kernel 3.x installed)
The VDR box has just xine+vdr running, no XBMC, DVD playback or other
fancy stuff

Works out of the box with lirc or the kernel event
I got a dvb card, installed it in my vdr box and it didn't work. So I decided
to compile the driver, but alas, I had accidentially deleted the kernel
compile tree.
So it seems it's time to upgrade everyting: kernel, vdr, dxr3 driver and
dxr3plugin.

The latest fully functional combination I'm aware of is version 0.18.0
plus the following patch, I know it works at least up to Fedora 14's
kernel 2.

Is it possible to have VDR Live name it's recordings according to the
title of the show?
For example, I'd love to see recordings named like this:
- .ts (ie. "The King of Queens - Name of Episode.ts")
