Hi,
I've been botten by the 2GB file size split and would like to:
1) create a single file. "cat *.ts" > result.ts does not work well
because if I watch the resulting file with mplayer, i get out of sync
video and sound at the original split location
2) edit the resulting file to remove uneed

In the developer version (since 1.7.3, with some fixes 1.7.5 and 1.7.6)
a single recording file can be 1TB in size.

hi,
since I updated from vdr-1.7.11, there is some change in the way H.264
is treated:
With 1.7.11 + xine with vdpau support, I can watch H.264 "HDTV" shows
without problems. Occasionally, there is a small glitch.
But with 1.7.14 + the same version of xine, H.264 (both SDTV and HDTV)

Well I do not understand either but try with smplayer and you will see
strange thing happen (slow motion; out of sync, bad timestand displayed,
...). Each .ts works fine in mplayer, not the result of the cat command.
Note that its VC1 + eac3 (HDTV in france).
Note the error below when trying
Is ff_audio_decoder.c to patch ?
I try but that change nothing.

what is vdr-1.7.9-rotor.diff ?
please use extension patch for vdr 1714
http://copperhead.vdr-developer.org/downloads/extensionpa
I was just wondering, if
ifdef PLUGIN
CFLAGS += -fPIC
CXXFLAGS += -fPIC
endif
can now be removed from Make.config.template, as the new Make.global
cares for -fPIC since VDR 1.7.13.

in vdr root dir. then I copied Make.config.template to Make.config, uncommented
rotor =1 line
for rotor I did a
patch -p1 -i rotor-0.1.5-vdr-1.7.13.diff from src/rotor dir.
all hunks succeeded.
