when i'm on the main OSD menu and i wanna do an instant recording i
press the Red key (Record) and the system automatically restart VDR and
when it finish to came up the recording is not started so i need to redo
again the say me tasks.

it's a long time i'm this problem and i don't know how to solve:
when i'm on a channel (ie. ORD) and i wanna set a timer of a different
channel (ie. Eurosport) i can't move between channel list inside the
timer OSD menu. Is this normal? I remember with VDR 1.4.7 was running
but now with 1
I thought this was because of the priority patch for better maping of timers to
tuners, but I have removed that patch and still
loose a tuner. Using vdr-1.7.8 (for some reason I have no sound with 179),
after there have been timer records, one of the tuners in
a dual tuner card, mostly the second
I found a problem which might be related in some way, dunno. I have 3
tuners and noticed that if I have 3 timers which overlap at all, and 2
of those timers are on the same channel, VDR still uses all 3 tuners
instead of grouping the timers that are on the same channel together.

Please test your problem with vanilla VDR. If the bug persists then
it's likely in VDR and not your patch.

Keys are correct, in fact the same situation happens when
