[vdr] vdr-sxfe + remote control

2009-01-17 Thread Alex Betis
Hello all, Please help me with remote control configuration since I'm breaking my head on a wall for more than a week already. RC is the only thing at the moment that stops me using the VDR as my main TV source. I've bought a nifty (and cheap) remote and a nice USB receiver. Looks like a clone of

Hi, I'm not quite sure if I understood your problem right. So you get the right codes with irw and have put them on remote.conf. remotes.conf as you wrote is not right place. Do you start vdr with --lirc option? If you use --lirc for vdr-sxfe you should give --lirc to vdr (at least I don't).

[vdr] maybe an new function for flexible ordner of colour keys on OSD?

Hello Klaus, on most RCs the order of the color keys are: red - green - yellow - blue. I own a RC with the order: red - yellow - blue - green. So every time I switch to a new version of vdr, I have to change the order of the color keys, because the OSD differs with my RC. I think I'm not the o

Hi Sven, I don't think that this is the main VDR's responsibility as VDR only tells the *skins* to show the four color keys. The skin only receives the four string it can show show any way it wants. So any skin plugin has to implement this colour key reordering. A VDR setup option will only avoid
