I'm using iptv 0.2.1 with vdr 0.1.7 to view NASA TV on a technotrend ff card.
The displayed picture occupies only the top left ¼ of the screen. My objective
is to get it full screen.
I have tried scaling it in the iptvscreen.sh script in the vlc call but this
asks too much of the

i had the same problem.
the solution is to resize the video to one of the following resolutions:
352 x 288
480 × 576
544 × 576
take the one which is nearest to the original resolution of your stream.
these are resolutions which the hardware scaler of the FF accepts.

could you test Arte with szap2 and mplayer/xine/ffplay . Have you these
warnings and errors ?

dvbsnoop -s ts -b -tsraw | xine stdin:/
dvbsnoop -s ts -b -tsraw > file.name
dvbstream -o 8192 | xine stdin://

Could you post what enties/settings you used to get that working? I tried to
get that working but didn't.
