is this plugin just a backend for for example clive or youtube-dl or did
you implement the download algorithms all by yourself?
I guess the latter one, because the former mentioned packages are not in
your build-depend list. But I just want to make sure.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi
I'm using vdr-softdevice and ShmClient to tune to VDR and it all works
very well. Indeed, I've even tweaked mplay.sh to do it's job.
However, there's a little problem: ShmClient usually runs in front of
the GDM Greeter (as nobody is logged into X11 when watching TV). And

fact that everything works in Kaffeine.
Now, what I see running vdr-sxfe xvdr://localhost is just a black

Hi,
Add you primary dvb device number in the /etc/vdr/setup.conf
In the line "PrimaryDVB = 3"
If you have 2 dvb cards you should add number 3 etc.
You must shut down the vdr before editing that file.

Hmm, I didn't know there was such an option... I especially have these
problems with AC3 audio, and these cannot easily be resampled.
I have a cheap ASRoc

Lauri, I've found only one manual so far:
http://www.linuxtv.org/vdrwiki/index.php/VDR_User%27s_Manual. It
doesn't contain a word on setup.conf. Also studied the entire wiki,
the man page. Could you please provide a link to the exact manual you
mean? TIA.
