Hello,
is there something "special" to do in order to get lcdproc working on my
G15 lcd keyboard ?
Or maybe another LCD plugin ?
I got a really suspicious Illegal instruction when compiling with
gcc-4.3alpha of today so I tried with gcc-4.2.2 with same result.
With gcc-4.2.2 I used : -g -march=

These have quite advanced thermal protection, so it should work well
with passive cooling.

I use the graphlcd plugin personally. much nicer output on the G15 than
lcdproc. http://developer.

Ok, this means that my setup is a low-end instead of being "average" as I
stated before, therefore my considerations about HDTV was totally wrong.

Hi,
I am novice in VDR programming. I tried writing a plugin for getting
EPG data from the Internet and using it. Now a prototype is up and
running.
To debug, extend and maintain the plugin I could use some more
information. I wish I could get my hands on some documentation on the
VDR classes (w

yes, I tried it. But I could not get it working.
Even if xmltv2vdr would work for me, I would like to learn to program
VDR plugins, hence the request. My plugin is working too :)

Yes, I did it once, about two years ago, on a 24" CRT monitor I tried
Euro1080, or something like this, it was DVB-S, MPEG2, but unfortunately
my CPU has not enough power to decode it flaw

Hi,
My friend is looking for USB DVB-S device with support HDTV. A quick
search on seach engines didn't give much information.
Could you share your expirience with USB DVB-S devices and give some
recommendations what to buy?
At this time he interested to buy it and make it work in Windows and

Beside all that, I do believe VDR needs to integrate H264 & HD
recording, along with support built-in for multiple frontends. Hopefully
I can lend a hand with the coding (in about 6 years).

Just curious... Why did you buy a dvb card? Antennas work just fine
and are less expensive.

Hello
Oh I didn't know that :-)
With gentoo patch for the plugin it's pretty straighforward to setup!
Are you using the g15 special keys in order to control VDR somehow ?
Thank you very much for the info ;-)

Is this related to `xine -V xxmc` too? The skin skinsoppalusikka's colours
appears wrong when I use the video driver xxmc in vdr-xine. It also appears
to do a "clearscreen" everytime the OSD updates, which is annoying if you
have the playback bar updating every second.
