Hi,
today many TV equipment offers online help, even my remote does ;)
VDR currently only gives help by manuals or WIKI, but this is far away
every time you need it, i.e. if you whatch TV.
So I was wondering if it would be interesting to add online help for VDR
with the following requirements:

Hi!
Have anybody noticed, but atleast here in Finland, EPG information (the text
what tells f.ex. what tells about movie) is so long that it's "cut short"
from middle of world, most of time.
Is because the string in VDR what holds that information is too short or...?

Hi list,
For all the version junkies out there, here is proxy plugin version
0.1.3, with full support for VDR 1.5.7 and its new i18n system. Also
fixed: Proxify the WakeupTime() call of VDR 1.5.1.
This version is fully backwards compatible, though it requires gettext
support to compile on all
Hello,
a hint on VDRs makefile: is there a "install-i18n" missing at the
install target?

I don't
Personally, I like the idea of vdr having a dedicated logfile. And
even more if the path/filename of this logfile can be defined by the
user.

Hi,
When I edit my Make.config and tell it to use CC=gcc-3.4 and CXX=g++-3.4, I

Actually, I dont have to edit the default Make.config at all to make it
fail. If I copy Make.config.template to Make.config and use the default, it
still fails.

Found the problem.. its a broken template.

Hello,
As you all might have guessed, we have some more broken plugins (mainly due
to the i18n changes and some from OSDLanguage being changed from an integer
to a string).

Can anyone help resolve these?

It can, at least with syslog-ng. I added these statements to my
syslog-ng.conf:
destination df_vdr {
