Hi,
I am using VDR 1.5.2 in a streamdev only environment. With the vanilla CVS
version of streamdev I am receiving a channel picture after every 2 channel
switches. I did a bug report and schmirl did post a quick fix. Unfortunately
it is not 100% perfect and time to time the picture does not p

In case anyone is having trouble, here's an attached patch of v3 for vdr-1.5.2.
You mean 1.4 :) Thanks.

I reinstalled ffmpeg-0.4.9 from rpm (and all the dependencies) but I have
the same output. It doesn't matter if i start softdevice with dummy or xv
video output.
I will do some more investigations tonight.

Sorry about the misinformation. I don't use ttxtsubs, so I didn't check

Hi List,
I think I just found a bug/segfault in vdr's timer handling. Could
someone please verify that:
1. start with empty timers list

3. Go to the timers menu and "deactivate" all but the last.

I haven't tried this yet but I will see if I can verify it although
I'm using 1.5.2 here.
Another problem with crashing occurs when you are watching something
with the mplayer plugin and a timer is triggered. Results in a crash

Ok, I've done some testing now with vdr-1.5.2 and the results are:
I could not reproduce the crash problems from the original post.
I could not reproduce the vdradmin crash problems.
Turning off "Update channels" did not have any affect on the crash
problem when a timer is triggered during whil

That's because vdr had to close the device to let mplayer open it. When
the recording starts, vdr tries to open the device but fails:
