This works great for TV channels, but when I switch to a radio channel,
vdr-sxfe dies. When I restart vdr-sxfe, it dies again, but I hear about a tenth
of a second of music.
. An apt-get install cycle takes a very long time, even with a
class 10 uSD card.

watch the encrypted TV shows.
Therefore I am trying to build vdr-plugin-sc and libvdr-sc-cardclient from

I use vdr-live, together with vdr-epgsearch. This allows me to login with a
browser in the VDR box. Then I can create searchtimers. Those searchtimers can
be set up for instance to keep recording until 10 episodes of a show exist on
the hard drive.

signal with CONAX protection.
I use a smargo cardreader, and a TVPC DVB-T receiver.

been captured, I would like to launch a low-priority task to decrypt the show.
This means I will be fumbling a lot with .ts files. A lot of the time I will do

Why has the location /var/lib/vdr been choosen for the configuration files?

suspend, resume, load the DVB-t driver, and restart VDR. This works nicely.,
