Hello,
i use the xine lib output plugin to run VDR in background and connect to it.
I configured VDRChannelPlus and VDRChannelMinus on Ctrl- Up and -Down.
But i'd also like them to show the program menu, additionally.
It seems not possible that way as the keymap is layed out command => key

Hello,
an additional amplifier for the signal solved the problem. So it was HW
related.
Best regards & Thanks for the hints,

Hi,

ok, that could be debugging left-over from the last setup. I'll try the value
180, maybe this improves it.
If nothing happens and nobody is logged in i shut down the VDR after 30

i can narrow the down what influences this problem?

I also thought about patching VDR sources and compiling it myself but i can't
imagine that nobody else would benefit from that, i don't think my

i have installed an /etc/vdr/shutdown.sh which will NOT shutdown as long as
somebody is still logged in.
So i know pretty sure that VDR is NOT going to shutdown.
The message shown "VDR wird in 3:00 Minuten ausschalten" does not make
sense on my system.
Is there a way to disable the mess
Hello,
i have a VDR up and running, the SW works fine so far (at least i think so).
Some recordings are half-corrupted, have breaks inbetween, bad sound, etc.
The bad-quality problem is not related to a certain channel, i wonder how i
can track this down.
My hardware:
2 (TWO !) Terratec Cinerg
Hi,
on my VDR PC i've set up openSuse 11.3 and i configured and compiled
vdr-1.7.15 from source (no RPM).
I also installed kernel 2.6.35 (compiled myself) with DVB support for
my Technisat CableStar HD2.
First test:
Starting kaffeine, the card is detected and channels can be scanned.
But if i
