Yes it is, you have to use TS stream. It works for me with vlc using url
like http://ip:port/TS/HDchannel.

I've recently had a problem too. I resolved it like that (i don't know if
the compilation error was the same as mine...) :
Add this line to the Makefile of VDR :
DEFINES += -D_GNU_SOURCE
*+DEFINES += -D__KERNEL_STRICT_NAMES
*
DEFINES += -DVIDEODIR=\"$(VIDEODIR)\"

Can you explain it more. What is "the right module" ? I have 2 dvb card, one
nova-s and one nova-t. with szap i can use my nova-t. With vdr no success, i
have "unavailable channel" when i switch to dvb-t channel.

Exactly the same config and results for me (DVB-S2 driver from v4l-dvb
installed yesterday with success). I've only one problem. I have 2 DVB-S
cards : one nova-s (dvb-s) and S2-3200 (dvb-s & s2). When i switch to a

Thx a lot ! It works fine for me. 3 DVB cards :
- Hauppauge Nova-s-plus (dvb-s)
- Hauppauge nova-t (dvb-t)
- Technotrend S2-3200 (dvb-s & s2)
No problem at all with SD and HD. I use VDR 1.7.0 with the "needed" patch
(h264, s2api).

yesterday evening i followed your setup to create 1 client.
Server : VDR & VDR2 server
Client : vdr-sxfe
When i run the second VDR server i can't switch channels. It's bloked on
channels attached to the first transponder (hope you understand what i
mean). plz help...
