I have two positioners one for a ku dish and a second for a C Band dish.
Would it be possibles to cater for the southern hemispere by a switch.

I've got round the problem of noty being able to play recordings made with

the rotor plugin ( or at least version 1.4mh) can control one rotor per card.
For c-band you need a vbox to translate the diseqc commands and to provide the
36 volts to drive the actuator. Thats how I do it. costs about $40
(australian). Piece of cake. Or am I missing something?
Mike

I think the rotor plugin is a bit of a mess now and the latest version (1.5)
is a step backwards with no transponder scan facility.
A clever friend of mine has doctored the previous version to work with
vdr-1.7.9, to still scan transponders and better still to scan C-band
transponders. Rotor sw
there is a patch for Projectx b31 which was the version I got from cvs.
I use vdr-1.7.8 and vdr-burn pre22 freom vdr portal and it works fine with
vanilla vdr but not with the vdr-extensions patch.

Does anyone have the burn plugin working with the latest developer version of
VDR.
I have managed to get it to compile by tinkering and it starts up ok but as
soon as you try to kick off a "create dvd" it crashes VDR?
Not being technically competent I am at a dead end.
Anyone?

I spent several hours yesterday trying to get this going.
However there are so many patches around that whilst I was able to get it to
compile and run I was unable to get it into the state I wanted with plugins
etc. I think Goga77 has posted something somewhere but I couldn't find it and

I am unable to compile this plugin. It fails with csmenu.c:236:
error: 'class cDevice' has no member named 'ProvidesS2'.
Can anyone provide any info that might help. I've scanned everywhere for
mention of "ProvidesS2" with no luck.
I'm using vdr-1.7.0, multiproto_plus and the reelchannelscan
