Hi,
I am currently using xineliboutput, and I'm using it with "--local=none"
everywhere so I can attach and detach from anywhere in the LAN, even
from the PC VDR is running on. It's working quite nicely this way.
Upside: No local configuration on any PC, no concurrency issues with
timers, ch

Later versions will also integrate into VDR as a patch, and will filter

Is there any progress on this topic? For me that’s the most useful use case and
I’d like to beta-test any VDR patch on this topic.

Even better: Store all related EPG in the info file while recording. Set auto
cut marks at times when EPG changes.

non-open-source driver.

Tested a G210: No HDMI sound support with vanilla kernel 2.6.31, and
with the simple patch [1] the device is detected but no sound is
available, as in [2]. Seems to require more effort to enable G210/GT220

Hi,
just wanted to ask whether someone already thought about the idea to use
unique timer IDs, like autoincrement, for avoiding race conditions
between multiple users or processes adding or removing timers. The
associated renumbering between DELT operations can lead to hitting the
wrong timer.
