The problem here in the US is, DVB is not a standard for anything.

What i know is the change for BBC channels break all dvb-t french
channel dvb subtitles.
Someone in french forum report that the same for Tv5 on astra.
I don't know for other channel and i don't have dvb-s.
I just tweak vdr with previously patch to make that work like before.
