I wasn't aware that PHP only did this
I assumed it would take over the suexec user/group
I'll give it a go, having a server running on a non-standard port.
Cheers,
Paul

Does anybody think this would work? Allowing apache to suexec the PHP script
to vpopmail/vchkpw
http://www.cluecentral.net/suexec.html
I would try it myself, but I have no spare machine and don't want to break a
production server.
Thanks,
Paul
It was working about 30 minutes ago.

Ken,
Thanks for the email.
However I have followed the instructions in the FAQ and the tcp.smtp file is
not updated when people use POP to authenticate.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi Jonas,
Even though I have checked mail on the server successfully, the open-smtp
file is not updated

It's just a basic
./configure --enable-roaming-users=y
It's version 4.9.10, if thats any use to you.
Many Thanks,
Paul

I'm not sure if this is the right list, but it seems to be!
Since I have enabled (and got working) POP before SMTP the CPU load on the
server the highest I have ever seen it.
At the moment, the load is 7.7 and before enabling this, it never reached
0.5
Any ideas??
Many thanks,
Paul
