I read a good chunk of this mailing list in the last few days, and a lot of
people are asking for an RPM version of vpopmail.
I just created one this morning for version 4.9.8 of vpopmail.
The spec file will create the vpopmail user and vchkpw group before compiling
the package. It will force

I have a fairly new install of netqmail-1.05-r8 / courier-imap-4.0.6-r2 /
vpopmail-5.4.16. The system has ran fine except for two instances of memory
usage (leak?). This system is setup on a Gentoo server according to the
guide located at:

Same issue on Gentoo with vpopmail-5.4.16. I searched a few months ago
and have been scanning the mail lists since then with no mention of a
bug fix specific to this.
For now I just monitor and use

My mail server is not so busy so I can a
nd after you cry chances are very big you'll cry a lot more
due to corruption.
