It's typical that you can oversell usage in mail servers the same as you do dialup lines or t1's etc etc. I have 13k users in 300 or so domains on a qmail server with 10mb quotas each, and currently it uses about 11.5gb of space. I have my maildirs on a 30gb external raid. A number of users check
