not sure if this would work but you could trying putting this into
/etc/tcp.smtp
=.aol.com:deny
then recompile tcp.smtp.cdb

Hi all,
I am getting this weird problem (see below) now which I assume is caused by
"pop before smtp" auth. It only happens occasionaly eg: the test below I
tried about 12 times and it only happened once. Where the problem lies is
that some email clients are freaking out when they see this and re
I'm not sure what the implications of this are but it does work. What if you
added a small fake alias domain and login using that: eg if the domain is
"mycompany.com" then make an alias domain "myc" so you would login with
"user@myc"

I have never tried fetchmail with a qmail+vpopmail set up but all fetchmail
does is reinject the mail by connecting to the smtp server. qmail+vpopmail
should be able to handle this

This is something I want too. The only way I can think of doing it is for
qmail-scanner to read a file everytime it loads with the list of domains
that require scanning if the domain in not there then it will quit.
I would recommend contacting the author or the mailing list for
qmail-scanner as it
t does not have
the option to just check pop.
I am rather nervous about patching rock solid qmail with a 3rd party patch.
So I'm interested in what experience people have had with it and if it works
well. Also if it works well with vpopmail which I also depend on.

vpopmail (with the vmoduser patch).
Also how does the disable relay access work as there is no authentication
for smtp?
Also is there a way to set up global domain defaults so that any new
accounts created within a domain using qmailadmin get set?

At a guess I would say it is because when you attach a file it is converted
to base64 or mime which is 7 bit. So for every 8 bits you only get 7 bits of
data. Therefore an attachment uses much more space than the original file.

It is a shame that qmailadmin doesn't support this.

Fetchmail is what you want. All you need is a local smtp server and account
for it to resend the mail to.
