Yes I have patched the qmail for maildir++ thats why IMAP protocol does not
create any problem. I am agreed with your opinion that POP is creating some
problems in this case.
Basically I have installed netqmail-1.0.5. Is there any separate patch for
configuring POP using maildir++?

I generally don't like suggesting a alternatives, but it appears to me
that you're going about this the hard way. Have you considered using
Qmail-Toaster (http://qmailtoaster.com/)? It's a rock solid
