pgsql as the database. my vpopmail db is on this machine. B is having
the qmr installation and vpopmail access user data from machine A on
network. (hardcoded the DSN in vpgsql.h)

a time I've read about the vpopmaild feature for some new vpopmail
release. Unfortunately I doesn't know where I've read about it. Is this
feature planned and what pricisly is it for?

from 5.4.9 to 5.4.13 but when i run the configure script i get this
error
"valias is only supported in the MySQL authentication module"

Is there a downloadable patch to 5.4.13 that allows emails to be deleted
with .qmail having just "#" or "# delete"?
It looks like 5.4.14 will have a substantial number of changes so I'm
looking at deploying 5.4.13 + the delete_fix_patch on new servers this year.

I am moving a domain from one host onto my own setup. Their admin has
given me the password file for the domain. About half of the passwords
are md5 which I can put into vpopmail-mysql fine. The other half are

I am in the middle of testing a migration of a vpopmail system and am
having strange behavior with POP3. Basically, the new server shows that
there are 0 messages in the test mail account when there are actually
messages. The old server (with access to the same mail directory) sees
the messages

Check the date and time on the two machines. I believe you will find
they are not the same
