The .qmail-default was trying to use a fastforward db (which I'm not using
anymore), and wasnt going to vdelivermail.. Thanks again.

are you using the same userid to compile with as you have used to
download the source? Maybe you should chown the files first
Mail stops coming through. You can ping the server but you can't get email.
Webmail or pop.
