Some answers ...
the setup is the following:
Vpopmail is installed to /var/vpopmail ..because of diskspace issues I linked
/var/vpopmail/domains to /home/vpopmail/domains/ (where the vpopmail installation was
installed on the old server). All new domains get /var/vpopmail/domains/domainname/as

Hm ... I read a little bit through the vpopmail source code ... and I don't understand
some things:
vdelivermail uses a funcion called vauth_getpwd() to get the userdetails. This
function is located in the file vauth.c. But this Function ONLY uses the cdb files:

I have a user who currently has about .5 Megs of messages in their

In addition to my earlier posted problem I have found out the following:
If I check the imapd/current log I see that it tries to chdir to /home/test
After I created the new user skel consisting out of a homedir+maildir I

What version of vpopmail? The defaultdomain file was added somewhere
in the 5.3 series. Be sure to recompile/install Courier-IMAP (if
you're using it) so it can use the new vpopmail code for setting the
default domain.

Hi,
ldd shows that there is mysql-support linked into vdelivermail. I tested creating of a
new domain .. and then create a new user .. those new users get their mails delivered
... so there needs to be a difference between the imported domains and the new domains
.. I checked /var/qmail/users/a
Hi,
regarding the vdominfo issue ... it looks like only the new created user accounts are
accounted in the usercount output of vdominfo. The weird thing is .. I can't see how
vpopmail can differ between old users and new users (they look totaly identically
inside the mysqltable).

Hi all,
I have the strangest of problems going on after installing vpopmail &
qmailadmin. But first some history;
At first I installed Qmail + Courier-Imap + Squirrelmail, which all
worked fine using 1 domain and system users.
After that I wanted to host multiple domains, so I created one using
