Thanks Jonas, anyone used this RPM and reported such issue?
I'm now considering reinstalling it with proper sources.

As vpopmail supports MD5 passwords, you can also take the crypted
passwords from /etc/shadow and feed them into the vpasswd file
Hi there,
is there a simple way to induce my qmail-smtpd (patched with the
qmail-smtpd-auth patch from
http://members.elysium.pl/brush/qmail-smtpd-auth/) to use the vpopmail
mysql db as "justice".

Hi list,
as read on the archive, the quota warning message is produced every
24h. Is anyone aware of the possibility to change that / make it
possible to let it run e.g. every 10 minutes? I didn't find anything
about this topic.
Thanks,
Juergen

You can use vchkpw as the password checking backend for

You don't own neither domain1.com nor domain2.com. We cannot help you if
you hide the real data from our eyes.

We are investigating the procedure of moving our current mail server to
newer (and perhaps more stable) hardware. (The current server expereinces
random reboots, which are frustrating to say the least.)
Our current configuration is a fBSD 4.2 machine running qmail+vpopmail using
tcp.smtp.cdb file

and i dont think there is *.domain under vpopmail
but if you change some code you may add them

I am using qmail
with vpopmail. I set up a first domain, and all is well. Its been
working for months now. However, I just added a second domain, and its

If i send an email
to myself through the NEW domain, I never get a reply.

Hi hondaman,
I'm sorry, but your posting did not qualify in nearly any point that is
important for us to help you with your problem.
- You did not include your vpopmail version and ./configure line.
- You did not tell us your real domain names.
- You did not tell us the output of qmail-showctl.

There is no such option in vpopmail.
Jonas
1. I don't know my /configure line. I installed it about 5 months ago.
Version 5.2.1
2. hardcs.com is the old domain, fast-us.org is the new domain
3. Here is the output from qmail-showctl

If you still have the source tree in place, look into config.status.

exec ${CONFIG_SHELL-/bin/sh} ./configure --enable-roaming-users=y

While file would you like to see the output of in /var/log/qmail? There

The full delivery log for the delivery that did not work as expected,
which can be found in the "current" file.

Ok here is the last line, from an email I just sent. I doubt you want

I can reproduce the problem every time I send an email. It doesn't
work. Every time. So the email is sending properly. Why am I not able
to retrieve the email from that account? Why, when I check both
accounts, do I get a copy of every email from each account?
