Hey, I have modified the qmail script under /etc/init.d for tcpserver &
pop3d, now it's ok, virtual user log in for read pop.
But, the system does not delivery local mail. If i send email outbox it work
fine, but does not receive. In the log file I found this:
starting delivery 1: msg 4620329
Hi List
I am a Newbie to Vpopmail and ezmlm.
Do these two work fine together?
Is there a special howto to follow?
Thanks for any help and hints.
Zeno

It's just a cleaner and nicer way of doing it. qmail-conf sets up the run
script that way. Functionally, there is no difference.

Hi, I am having a bit of a weird problem with my logging of QMail +
VPopmail.
System OS::
FreeBSD 4.7 (fresh install)
I launch qmail via services
(http://matt.cadillac.net/computing/mail/toaster/toaster-2.3.shtml)
and added my own logging script in /services/send/log
#!/bin/sh
exec /usr/local/bi
Ok, i found my problem:
my /var/qmail/rc had the following
#!/bin/sh
# Using splogger to send the log through syslog.
# Using qmail-local to deliver messages to Maildir format by default
exec env - PATH="/var/qmail/bin:$PATH" \
qmail-start ./Maildir/ splogger qmail
i took out the splog
Qmail won't deliver to root for security reasons.
Setup a /var/qmail/alias/.qmail-root file
to forward root's mail to a non root user account.

i realize this may be a qmail list question and i have another email in my
drafts folder just for the occasion but i thought it would post it here
first (people tend to get eaten alive on the qmail list also :). i have set
up qmail_smtpauth_qmailqueue_maildir++/vpopmail/mysql.
i can pop in fine:

They work file together. Remember to su to the vpopmail user before
running ezmlm-make, otherwise you will have to chown -R the list dir
to vpopmail.vchkpw.
