Yes, but you will probably have to recompile your sqwebmail 2.1.1 after
installing version 5. Pretty much anything that reads against the
libvpopmail.a library needs to be recompiled.

What would this error mean if you were given it from running "./vadddomain"
from the shell?

Runing ./vadddomain as the user vpopmail produces this:
$ ./vadddomain test.com test
Segmentation fault - core dumped
But, I cannot find a dump file.
Any ideas?

Out of curriosity, is this redhat 7.1? If it is, are you using the
problematic default gcc compiler? If you are, try recompiling with no
optimizations (change -O2 to -O0 in the Makefile) or upgrade your GCC
compiler (Probably the best option anyhow)

Perhaps the only way around this one is to use a cron job!
The PHP script writes to a text file commands... Each line would look like
this
adduser [EMAIL PROTECTED] password
deluser [EMAIL PROTECTED]
A PHP script, ran as root, from cron could then use the commands from that
file and exec
It's FreeBSD 4.2
I guess as it works under the root user, that it's not a problem with
compiling?

I'm running vpopmail 5.0 on a qmail 1.03 RHL 6.2 machine.
I've set vpopmail's hardquota to 3MB. I created one user and set its quota
(via vsetuserquota) to 1MB. Why was this account still able to receive mail
when I sent a 1.5MB attachment? I tried resending the same file and it

I agree with you, But what if there is some kind of global list kept..
Sorta of like RBL now. That list admin had to signup for?
The CRC idea sounded good, But the possibility of it working is fading.

Just remember if you do this to compile apache with your vpopmail
directories under your httpd suexec directory tree or you won't be able to
execute any cgi scripts for it. this would be a killer setup for a
dedicated email server.
