While trying to compile vpopmail-5.0pre6 with --enable-password=y, I
got:
/usr/src/vpopmail-5.0pre6/vchkpw.c:397: undefined reference to 'log'
it looks like the line should actually use vlog(), not log(). Is that
correct?

Thanks for responding Gabriel!
The /home/vpopmail/users directory remains empty.
However, I do end up with a /home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain.com/postmaster
directory.
My LDAP server is unchanged.

Hi folks,
How difficult is it to upgrade a production box from: vpopmail-4.10.32
running mySQL
to the current version? Is this recommended?
Also, has anyone run Bruce Gunter's QMAILQUEUE patch and qmail-filter with
vpopmail?
Will it work?
Lance
The upgrade shouldn't be too difficult. Be sure to back up
your binaries though.
The QMAILQUEUE patch works, but it creates an open relay situation.
In order for it to function as made, you must either know every block
you wish to allow to send mail through your server, and you must
manually add
Yes it will work. We use it with a perl script we wrote to block out spam.

I would suggest getting a list of the users and thier
clear text passwords. Then write a script to load it
up into the vpopmail mysql table. Leave the pw_dir field
empty. vpopmail will auto create the user dir and auto
update the mysql table. These features were built so
mysql admins could load up
