Latest stable vpopmail release has a bug. We use Unix Quota system for each virtual
domain on our RH Linux 6.2 box.
When Unix disk quota for the "/etc/passwd" user gets full and if any of the
userinformation or password is changed by Qmailadmin the Vpasswd file goes 0 bytes.

I quickly developed some kind of a 'vacation solution'.
What I basically rely on is the fact that when a user 'test' exists in a
vpopmail domain 'domain.com', thus 'domain.com/test' I still can use a
.qmail-test file in 'domain.com' with the following lines:

The development version has an --enable-auth-logging=y option.
That puts a time stamp on each account during authentication.

This is new for me so please be patient.
I have printed out the docs, downloaded the source and am following the
install instructions labelled INSTALL.
On section 3 it says :-

all my virtual domains cannot check mail.. pop3 won't authenticate. my
default domain with
local users can check pop3 no problem. Mail is being delivered to the
approperite /domain/xyz.com/user/Maildir/new
