Hi Chris
Again, this is covered in the documentation that comes with Qmail, and/or is
available on various sites like www.qmail.org
Also, I don't want to sound like
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-remote must exist, and be executable. If it is
not, that is the error you will get.

It is version 2.5 because it has been production tested on quite a few
machines with no problems. As for configuration definitions for where
the qmail-remote binary is; it is a good idea, but currently, we are
too busy to continue work on that package at this time. We, of course,

I am currently using vpopmail, qmailadmin and sqwebmail.
All domains are name-based sharing only vpopmail as user and vchkpw as
group.
I would like to have all virtual POP users have the ability to filter their
incoming e-mails on the server.
Has anyone implemented this and would maildrop fulfill
Hi,
I have installed qmail and vpopmail. Now I start qmail like this:
smtp:
./tcpserver -u 502 -g 101 -x /home/vpopmail/etc/tcp.smtp.cdb 0 smtp
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd &
pop3:
./tcpserver -H -R 0 pop3 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup name.domain.com
/home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw /var/qmail/bin/qmail-p
Hello,
I've moved a vpopmail box from being the primary mx record to a backup.
I used vdeldomain to remove the domains, and then I saw they were left
in /var/qmail/control/virtualdomains , so I deleted those lines.
However, when other machines from the internet try using them, I get
errors in my
You need all three. smtp server, pop3 server, and qmail-start for local
deliveries and the queue.

Greetings Jason et al,
Wondering if you guys could help me out by giving me instructions how to
remove a user from the qmail list. There's someone on the list who know
longer works for my company but he apparently hasn't been auto-bounced yet
even though his e-mail address is no longer valid.

Because I'd prefer to politely teach people to learn to help themselves if they

Hi,
Anyone on the list(s) have any idea of how to make a "independent-of-another-
servers" pop3 cluster on a group of qmail-vpopmail servers? Preferentlly on
distinct DMZs.

I've had clients ask about using SSL for their mail, with vpopmail/qmail is
it possible to use SSL, is it even worth it if it is?
