Hi!
I have installed qmail outside /var/qmail and I see vpopmail don't work, if I create a
symbolic link from /var/qmail to it, the program works.
Can anybody tell me how to install vpopmail if qmail is in a different directory of
/var/qmail?
Thanks in advance.

run:
./configure --help
from inside the source directory. you will see:
--enable-qmaildir=dir directory where qmail is installed.
in the list of enable options.

What is the users directory used for on vpopmail? Wouldn't that be where it

So where do I put this mythical -x option?

Perfect.. !
Now I have a problem with vadddomain using the -e option. It asks me for the
password for the postmaster then coredumps. When looking in the domains
directory I can see it created a .qmail-postmaster but never got to make the
ownership.

I have the same problem. I never bothered to look into it because I
haven't had a need to use a default mailbox.
This bug is definatley related to setting the "Wildcard" email address.
If you drop the -e option the domain should get added.

I checked that, and its set to it
host_alias = LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.10
host_triplet = LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.10
But I still get

what you just said is look for libs in directory named
/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.10 which is quite funny.

Hi, as i mentioned in my last email, ive had to restore most of my vpopmail
