Hi Ken,
Thanks for your reply. My Vpopmail sql db pw_dir shows location of domains as /home/vpopmail/domains/domainname.com instead of /home/user/domains/domainname.com where its actually stored. Any Idea where things are going wrong here...
vadddomain -u user domain.com password is working fine.
Hi Ken,
is it really a good approach to enter the full path
to the template files in a World Readable File that has to be in the Webserver
path? Well first it does not have to world readable does it? It will work if it
is only readable by vpopmail right? But the main question is does it rea
When i add a domain i get the following error:
vadddomain:
undefined symbol: vmkpasswd
I have tried both with the "www.sury.cz/debian" packages, and newly
compiled, they give the same error.
It works fine when i use CDB.

Hi there,
I have no problems retrieving mail using pop authentication with vchkpw.
However, when I authenticate using APOP I get an authorization error. Does
vchkpw APOP authentication not support /etc/passwd (shadow)?
Thanks in advance,

Hi,
Since I never got a response from my previous post, I assume my question was
lame or lacked detail. I'll try again...
Is there anyway I can configure vchkpw to handle APOP for /etc/passwd users?
I know there are other means for handling this (patches to checkpassword,
checkpw, etc.) but I l
Hello all.
I've found a bug in vchkpw. It tries to add 3 new environment
variables, but uses the same buf for each one, which overwrites the
previous values.

I wonder if the memory needs to be malloc'd or if the stack variables
in main() are okay.

If you still have your initial source dir from where you last built
vpopmail, you'll find your config settings in the top header of
config.status file.

Check your crontab. Some rpm's of qmail install a cron job to
recreate the /var/qmail/users/assign file from /etc/passwd entries.
