I have problem to fetch mail from maildir
I am using vpopmal 4.9.2 with cdb and Mandrake 7.1 with md5 passwords
I am using vpopmail for creating mail-users without real account.
I run as root vadduser "username without @domain"
POP3 daemon is runnig under user vpopmail an vchkpw group
Escape ch
when I add user by command vadduser. it is fault.
Display:
segment fault(core dumped?

It would certainly help if you cared to share a few details:
* output of uname -a
* output of strace/ktrace/truss/whatever vadduser

"pw_passwd" is Mysql's one of column..
How can I get the 'pw_passwd" column.
I want to change the pw_passwd on the web directly SQL query...
What kind of hash function or encrypt method
is used?

The pw_passwd field is generated using standard crypt(). You can change it
with something like:
UPDATE
Standard unix crypt ...
crypt (current_crypted_password, user_supplied_password) should ==
current_crypted_password.

I don't know of any, except for webmail programs that
use POP or IMAP to get mail.

Here we've finally got rid of the user%domain when authenticating.
But then we started getting this error:
The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by
the server. The rejected e-mail address was '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'.

I use redhat 6.1+qmail1.03+vpopmail4.9+cdb
I have 5M user in that single domains,now how to do for me.

ken, he's wanting something where you could still have
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" be two different "unique" login accts
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
so you could have a "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" would be the physical pop
login "pop01"
where [EMAIL PROTECTED] would be the physical pop login
"pop02"
