Hi,
I just installed qmail 1.03, vpopmail 4.8.7, qmailadmin 0.32, ezmlm 0.53 +
idx 0.40 and autorespond 1.0.0. on a redhat 6.2 system.
Everything seems to work fine for one thing: in qmailadmin I am not able to
add a moderator to a mailinglist.
The message I get in the webbrowser is this :

If it's possible could someone, please, point me to the right FAQ

Hi,
I have installed MySQL + Qmail + vpopmail + qmailadmin.
I have installed vpopmail with --enable-mysql=y. This has created a table
vpopmail in mysql.
I have created 2 virtual domains using vadddomain, and also added users. The
corresponding entries are present in Mysql.

Thanks for clearing the large-site issue for me. But now I have one more
question. I do not use any RDBMS software with qmail/vpopmail. Do the
examples listed below still apply to the cdb files? Is there a
disadvantage to using cdb instead of a RDBMS system for vpopmail? What are

It's typical that you can oversell usage in mail servers the same as you do
dialup lines or t1's etc etc. I have 13k users in 300 or so domains on a qmail
server with 10mb quotas each, and currently it uses about 11.5gb of space. I
have my maildirs on a 30gb external raid. A number of users check

Hey. I'm having a problem with selective relaying. Whenever a user would
try to send mail, they would get the 'sorry, your host isn't in my list
of rcpthosts' error, so I installed the relay-ctrl program ( http://em.ca/~bruceg/relay-ctrl
). But, it still doesn't work. (I still get the not in my r
vchkpw has built in control for this type of relaying (the roaming users
option.)

First..
Heres my ./configure line :
--enable-mysql=y --enable-ip-alias-domain=y --enable-roaming-users=y
Everything compiled fine. I've been running vpopmail for years now. Although
i'm very new at mysql.
I didn't have any problems with the conversion (vconvert -c -s).

Hi,
I have an server (Pentium III 750 MHz, 500 MB RAM, 50 Gigabyte Disk)

There are 90.000 virtual users on that machine with nearly the same
amount of aliases in the fastforward.cdb.
But there is one problem. I offer pop3 and smt

yes. in the kernel source tree do this:
/usr/src/linux/include/linux/socket.h
#define SOMAXCONN 511
there is also something else you can change to up your max processes,
but i dont recall where that file is. this should take care of the
SYN problem tho.

hi,
by now i've read about filters in sqwebmail - well - how can this work with
vpopmail ?
- sqwbmails filters rely on maildrop acting as local delivery agent
- vpopmail delivers by vdelivermail
- maildrop can not use vpops user database
- vpopmail can not use userdb
how can i make this work ?
Hello. First of all, I set up qmail (tcpserver, cdb, et al) and
vpopmail on a new linux-mandrake box (shoulda used OpenBSD, yeah yeah,
but I'll keep things really familiar 'til I get QMail-adjusted... ;)
It all starts up and runs (from rc.local)! Good so far.
