Oops. Sorry about that. It indeed does not work.
This run script is interesting, it will put up an stunnel SSL connection
that should make Outhouse Express happy:

Very much so. Let me fire up VPC and see what they call that...
Go to tools -> accounts -> then click the "mail tab".
Highlight the mail account in question and hit "prop

So I have to choose: using a cryptography authentication method

You can do that setting it in the file:
echo yourdomain.com > /home/vpopmail/etc/defaultdomain
p.s.: This is only possible if you have a version
newer than 5.2.x (I can't remember exactly what
version!). Before that version, you need to recompile
with an option like --set-defaultdomain=yourdomain

Look at the config.h for vpopmail, search for the definition of PS_COMMAND.
It does say
#define PS_COMMAND "ps axww"
Can you send the output of that command? The vpopmail problem is
related to the function that parses the output of ps to find the
qmail-send task so
just add your domain to /var/vpopmail/etc/defaultdomain It works with me.

Hello,
I'm not shure should I ask this here or on courier-imap mailing list.
I have installed qmail, vpopmail, ldap and qmailadmin. It all works

only username instead of [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Hi!
As far as I remember vpopmail has an option called "DEFAULT_DOMAIN".
If you enable this for your domain you can use the username to login. If
there are any additional/virtual domains on the server you have to use
the whole e-mail address for those.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hello,
I'm not shure should I ask this here or on courier-imap mailing list.
I have installed qmail, vpopmail, ldap and qmailadmin. It all works
great together. My question is, Can I log to POP3 or IMAP server using
only username instead of [EMAIL PROTECTED]
