Your permissions look a lot different to the ones
on my server (which is also running vpopmail-5.3.27).

There is no occurrence of the word "Permission"
within any of the vpopmail source, so that error is definitely not being
generated by vpopmail
It is likely that the vdelivermail program hasn't got the correct
permissions set

Maybe I'm being obvious here, but have you tried;
chmod +x /usr/local/vpopmail/bin/vdelivermail
I've gotten 5.3.27 to work beautifully on a couple different flavors of BSD,
most notably FreeBSD 4.8 and 5.1, so I highly doubt its a development error.

Hello all,
I'm having some problems getting maildrop to behave properly when someone
goes over quota. This is vpopmail 5.3.27 and maildrop 1.5.2 (with quota
support).
First of all, when vdelivermail is delivering the mail, there's no
problem. If the user is over 90%, they get a warning, if they
Hi,
I want to backup vpopmail.. it's config and data files... what should I

Hi,
I have just confirmed another user in another vpopmail domain with the same
maildirsize problem.
All mail domains reside on NFS server.
The user's Maildir size is around 5 megs, excluding .Trash, as reported by `du`
The user's quota is set to '1000' i.e. 10MB.

This topic should have been already covered.
Please check if this "change" works for you.

In such a case, I may suggest a very general and "to be adjiusted manually"
patch "over the patch" like this.
Hello all,
I'm wondering if anybody has tried implementing tmda on their vpopmail
server(s) when qmail has been patched by chkusr.
It strikes me from initial looks that there may be a problem with incoming
emails destined for a tagged email address, if qmail's smtpd modified by
chkusr is looki
