was that cdb was a very fast database in itself. has anyone done some
accurate tests between authenticating

Can anyone suggest how to clean up this problem? TIA - Eric.
After a lot of time trying different scenarios, I think this situation
causes qmail/vpopmail to begin relaying.

mysql 3.23.49

Oops, I meant the mysql *user* doesn't have permissions. Not the tables.

Try logging into mysql as the user and set them up manually. I'm guessing
that the mysql tables you set up don't have the right permissions. As root
mysql user try:
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON vpopmail.* to user@localhost identified by
'password'
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I had a problem installing vpopmail with MySQL. The vmysql.h file is
already configured, VPOPMAIL was compiled and installed without error
messages (a lot of times) but the MySQL tables were not created.
Versions:
RedHat 7.2
MySQL 3.23.41
VPOPMAIL 5.2 (not 5.2.1)
Thanks,
Willy Scalioni
Hello all guys,
i want to use sqwebmail over
Ldap in my RedHat 7.3 box.
Do i have to configure
sqwebmail for ldap or it works using vpopmail with ldap autentication.
Any suggestions?
Davide
Thanx, my problem was solved, after i install version 5.2.1, but i am
going to try again with 5.3.9 in free time..

Guys:
That problem is caused by a corrupted rules database. Rebuild the rules file with
tcprules and
it wil be fixed.
Hope it helps you!.

Hi James.
Didn't know you were on this list, (I hang out on inetaccess).
Can you authenticate using authvchpw in imap.conf before you try using
roaming? or are you not getting past authentication
