Hello,
I design a system on GNU Radio with USRP and coded it in Python. I am hopping
frequency. Then I restart this process. I save all max. value at different
frequencies. I am sharing datas with you. All data you can see in this document
I take connection with cable. I mean I connect TX port
The data I share, I gave all of this when connected by cable. I calculated
Friis calculation, too. But, Signal is transmitted by directly cable. I don’t
think this equation is necessary.

Sorry for misunderstanding. I think this is my fault. But as i mentioned my
first question, when i say cable connection, i mean i connected tx port to rx
port with cable. To see the device settings clearly, i did this. Also, I have
b200.

I coded the SDR with Python. I used GNU Radio. My card is B200. At first the
antenna is located in position. The signal which is from location controller
comes to me and say signal is okey. SDR runs and gives me the results. This
process after and after again.
When this happen, SDR stops. I loo
I am using both SDR's usb cable and SDR's adaptor. The adaptor is 5.9V 4A.
Sample rate's 14MHz. I am running within native.

Hello, I am curious about USRP and i found one from my friend. My device is
USRP B200.
I want to ask how to embed code to USRP. Is there any ide for this? and Do i
have to always run this usrp from usb cable.
My other trouble is i try to view changes from GNU Radio panel. I design Rx and
Tx si
If I always use usb cable, let’s assume i use what are the advantages of using
adaptor for transmitting or receiving?
I read that document. I am searching document more like book, more detail is
better for me. I want to research. Then I will start to development.
Hello,
I am writing this code from terminal:
*benchmark_rate --rx_rate 10e6 --tx_rate 10e6*
and the output is:
*\[INFO\] \[UHD\] Win32; Microsoft Visual C++ version 14.1; Boost_107000;
UHD_4.2.0.0-release

I installed via Anaconda and the code which i run benchmark is anaconda prompt
actually. So, my uhd environment is in anaconda.

Hello, again.
My system is 64bit and I made uhd installation again without anaconda complying
with “Building and Installing UHD from source” from here:
https://files.ettus.com/manual/page_build_guide.html
So, when i try uhd_find_devices, it works no problem.
But when try “benchmark_rate --tx_r
Hello,
I connected 2 Horn antennas to USRPs ports as TX and RX. I made the diagram on
GNU Radio. I think diagram is okey. And I measured the coaxial cables in VNA.
There is no problem.
When I rotate RX antenna 45 degree in roll axis, I see 3 dB decrease and this
is right.
But the problem is s
I wanna make this operation in far-field so i calculated from (2D^2)/λ and made
this distance almost 2meter. My horns are good at 4GHz i am working at this
freq. I adjust RX and TX gain with range operator in GNU, I mean for the
observation I am changing gain. To see the signal, I need to make 7
Hello, again.
I tried with step attenuators and the result is there was difference around 2dB
between 0 degree and 180 degree rotation of horn without attenuator. When I
connected the attenuators to rx and tx paths, the difference raised around
10dB. When I change step of attenuator, I can decr
Hello, I am sharing how i did it. I set lo_offset=20e3 then i am changing
center_frequency. Also thank you Marcus, have a nice day.
```
self.uhd_usrp_source_0.set_center_freq(uhd.tune_request(center_freq,
rf_freq=center_freq-lo_offset,
rf_
I don’t understand how this happen. Everythings are same, I just change USRP.
First, I tried with USRP B200 and the difference between 0 and 180 degree is
3dB.
Then I plug Pico VNA, the difference is zero. Then I plug Nano VNA (It’s 50
dollar VNA cheap.) the difference is zero.
I plug my other
I am changing the distance between 1 and 1,5 meter. I usually change gain
settings. But I always make 100dB totals. Right now, RX=35, TX=65.
I used VNA as a signal generator. I set -20dBm signal in VNA and I ran my SDR
as receiver. Actually, the results are satisfactory. SDRs receiver seems okay
Addition:
I think the problem is about LO leakage.
I made 4 different experiment.
First, I used just my B200 both receiver and transmitter and a specific
location which is the difference between 0 and 180 degree of Horn antenna is
2,5dB.
Second, I used just my B210 both receiver and transmitt
Hi Rob,
I need complex signal. But I tried with a constant, too. I set what you said.
But the result has not changed. I changed variables. I tried different setups
in the context of what you wrote like lo_offset to 1MHz, 5MHz, bandwidth to
5MHz, 10MHz, master_clock_rate to 20MHz all this combin
