mod_jk 1.2.15.
We have currently got 10 Tomcat Servers ( 5 on one server, 3 on another
server and 2 on another server)
We expect all workers to get the same amount of load (checked using the
'Busy' attribute show in the
Please give us exactly what and how the lbfactor should be set to load

Hello
In the server.xml
There is no connection timeout value set
What is the default value ?
Should the value that is set here be equal to the value set in
workers.properties file ?
socket_timeout
And what is the value set here..also in server.xml
(connectionTimeout="connectionTimeo
Please recommend proper values for the following mod_jk/workers.properties
parameters for a 12 node(worker) cluster
currently lbfactor for all workers is set to 1
We are having issues with improper load balancing (Buys/request to workers
not balanced properly) and nodes/workers getting stuck/non-
We have 12 jboss nodes using a single oracle 10g db server with following
specs...
4GB RAM
Dual CPU HT 3.2GHz Intel
RHEL 4 smp
We see load average going to 10 on a very regular basis and 30-90 during
peak hours and see the database as the bottleneck to our application
performance.
We also had is
fMemoryError: PermGen space* .
