get it to deploy under a path different from the warfile name?

OK -- I've been trying to unsubscribe from the mailing list, many many many

Can anyone enlighten me as to why it's a bad idea if:
if (session == null) {
session = request.getSessionInternal(false);
}
is instead:
if (session == null) {
session = request.getSessionInternal(true);
}
