Hello,
I want to configure the following

Maximum memory pool
Thread stack size
on tomcat 7 under Centos Linux but I don't know how.
The reason I want to increase the values of these parameters is because I get
out of memory error when upload files with jsp code.

Hi,
We are observing an increase in VIRT and RES memory of tomcat6.0 which
internally invokes our custom API is invoked (This API internally does an JNI
call).
The same API code when invoked through a standalone java process repeatedly
does not lead to an increase in the VIRT /RES memory.
Is
, that's all.

Matt.

It's always nice if there is some development in progress but it's not
so nice if this makes results worse.

You should ask your preferred search engine after "JMX".
JDK offers some applications like "jconsole" (old fashioned but usually
sufficent) or "jvisualvm" (looks nic

Hai,
is there any tool that i can monitor my tomcat ?, because at peak hour
my application looks like a Hang. But when i try to login to my
windows operation system. that system give a slow response, when i
would like to click start button.
i can not find that problem at tomcat log.

hi, thanks for your answer, i think that i have to questions in solaris, is
a solaris sparc, but, if the manager application show
Free memory: 3000 MB Total memory: 3000 MB Max memory: 3000 MB
then tomcat have 3000?, if true then i can put 3 gb in my tomcat.

Maybe. Most 32-bit JVMs can't actually give you 3GB of heap space.
You'll probably be limited to somewhere between 1.5 - 2.0GB. If you have
a 64-bit
the server has 8gb of ram.
