For example:
1. Enable debug logging.
2. Insert debugging statements into the code and follow the control flow
3. Break down the problem into its components.
- test the SQL statements with a command line program (psql if you
are using Postgresq
The logs don't say anything because there's no errors. It simply doesn't update
the database without giving errors.
