Thank you for responding. I am using 5.5.15. I shutdown using
TOMCAT_HOME/bin/shutdown.sh. Do I need to upgrade to the latest version to

connector? There is a bug in the native shutdown code in 5.5.15, but
it's fixed in 5.5.16.
